Dembo Jobarteh alias D Jobz (The Baddest Manager) is a Mandinka from a griot cast group called \u201cJali\u201d.
\nHe is undeniably The Gambia\u2019s Leading Artist Manager and Music Business Consultant.
\nHe was born in Fulladou Boraba(CRR)on the 12th of May 1984 and moved with his parents to Brikama (WCR) in the late 80s where he grew up and has his earlier teen education from nursery to lower grade level.<\/p>\n

ARTS SECTOR CAREER
\nHe registered his presence in The Gambia\u2019s Music Industry in February 2004 and met ST in the same year.
\nHe teamed up with ST from 2004 to 2017 and got signed by Joluv Arts Entertainment in 2018 where he served as the Record Label\u2019s first ever Operations Manager for 2 years.<\/p>\n
In August 2020 he signed a Management deal with NYANCHO and worked with him for two years where he served as the conceptualist of The Gambia Music Industry\u2019s greatest album project \u201cPolisol\u201d in 2022 which served as a successful comeback project for Nyancho Apachaky whose career faded out for years before DJobz\u2019s intervention to bring him back to his position in the Gambia\u2019s Music Industry.
\nOther Artists he has worked with were Miss Jobizz, Diha, C.S, City Stars, Mad Snake, Dave Ndow, Moja, Ashley Cham and Nancy Lovely Mboob.<\/p>\n
NATIONAL ARTS SECTOR POSITION:<\/p>\n
Served as the SECRETARY GENERAL of The Gambia Association of Music Producers and Promoters (GAMPP) from 2015 to 2018.<\/p>\n

\n– Met Sidiki Diabate (2017)
\n– Met Akon in 2017
\n– Worked with the late Thione Seck (2019) under Joluv Arts\u2019s auspices
\n– Worked with President Barrow on BYND\u2019s \u201cGambian Artists for Peace Foundation\u201d (2018) established by DJobz
\n– Women Empowerment Foundation of The Gambia (2018-2022) as Event Consultant.
\n– Served as the P.R.O of the Hook on Movement of Brikama for the growth of Brikama Artists (2007 to 2010)<\/p>\n
