Alex Jones<\/a> has revealed that Hollywood star who was \u2018full of himself\u2019 during an appearance on The One Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The presenter, 48, has been hosting the BBC<\/a> chat show since 2010 alongside various presenters, including Roman Kemp<\/a>, Jermaine Jenas<\/a>, and Ronan Keating<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, speaking on the Netmums Podcast<\/a>, Jones slated Jared Leto<\/a>, 53, for not being \u2018nice\u2019 or \u2018polite\u2019 as she named her least favourite guests to appear on the show.<\/p>\n

Discussing her chat with the House of Gucci<\/a> star in April 2022, Jones said: \u2018Jared Leto, I hope he\u2019s not listening to the Netmums Podcast, but he was there dressed as one of the Three Musketeers and he had all this, I don\u2019t know, Gucci, big shirt, sleeves billowing. I mean, he was so full of himself.<\/p>\n

\u2018And I thought, \u201cno, no, no, no.\u201d Our audience are nice people and they deserve better than this. And, okay, you might be like a huge celebrity star and you\u2019ve done all these films, but it doesn\u2019t cost to be polite and nice.<\/p>\n

\u2018Anybody who can\u2019t bring those simple skills to the table, I\u2019m out. I\u2019m like, no, sorry, you\u2019ve not been brought up well, then.\u2019<\/p>\n

Discussing other celebrities that she has spoken to on the show, she added: \u2018People assume that it must be amazing to have these big Hollywood actors, and yeah, it is fine,but I really like when we have British homegrown talent.<\/p>\n

\u2018They know the show, they know the atmosphere and they give really good interviews as a result. We\u2019ve had people on that are big Hollywood stars.<\/p>\n

\u2018I mean, last week we had Robert De Niro<\/a> and he was lovely, but afterwards he was a little bit like, \u201coh, my God, this is live.\u201d And that\u2019s the thing about actors, they don\u2019t like being themselves. They often get quite nervous.<\/p>\n

\u2018There are some who are brilliant, obviously, and they very relaxed, but a lot of them,that\u2019s why they\u2019re actors and when they have to promote the film, they get into a panic and the interview can be a little bit staccato and it doesn\u2019t really flow.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jones went on to explain how she enjoys when things go wrong on the show as \u2018there\u2019s a bit of jeopardy\u2019.<\/p>\n

She said: \u2018Live television is brilliant and keeps you vital and I\u2019m still so grateful and sort of just amazed that I\u2019m still there, you know, Not a day is the same.\u2019<\/p>\n

An example of this came when Dame Prue Leith left Jones giggling<\/a> in shock when she came out with some fruity language as she described her husband, retired fashion designer John Playfair<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Great British Bake Off<\/a> legend was discussing her ITV cooking series, Prue Leith\u2019s Cotswold Kitchen, and how her husband was a surprising natural in front of the camera.<\/p>\n

But, expressing her annoyance, Prue declared, \u2018I\u2019m frankly p***ed off about it,\u2019 while Jones and co-host Roman Kempt tried to stifle their laughter.<\/p>\n

As the show cut to footage from Dame Prue\u2019s new kitchen-based show, Jones exclaimed: \u2018Well, Prue Leith, you can\u2019t say that on The One Show! It\u2019s a family show!\u2019<\/p>\n
