While performing at his intimate concert with Brandi Carlile, Sir\u00a0Elton John<\/a> shared his plans for his tombstone.<\/a><\/p>\n

In honour of their new album, the pair took to the stage at The\u00a0London<\/a>\u00a0Palladium for a one-off filmed performance<\/a>: An Evening With Elton John & Brandi Carlile.<\/p>\n

Before bringing out the instruments, the dynamic duo \u2014 who lived together while writing Who Believes in Angels? \u2014 took part in a Q&A, hosted by Dan Levy.<\/p>\n

When speaking about his legacy, Sir Elton, 78, made it incredibly clear which song he did not want to be immortalised by.<\/p>\n

\u2018I want nothing to do with Crocodile f***ing Rock,\u2019 the Rocket Man declared. I just want it to say: \u201cHe was a great dad\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n

He shares his sons\u00a0Zachary, 14, and Elijah, 12, <\/a>with his husband David Furnish<\/a>, 62.<\/p>\n

Sir Elton spoke about how being a dad was the \u2018greatest gift\u2019 he could ever want and how his children still teach him things every day.<\/p>\n

This mirrors his wishes first shared in December, at the Time Magazine honours in\u00a0New York<\/a>,\u00a0where he said he wants his love for his children to be his legacy.<\/p>\n

David and Sir Elton have been partners since 1993, tying the knot in 2014 after welcoming their two sons.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the\u00a0Ruthie\u2019s Table 4<\/a>\u00a0podcast previously, David revealed one of their strict dinnertime rules.<\/p>\n

\u2018Meals are sacred. So, no phones at the table. No television on in the background,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s all about conversation. It\u2019s all about connection. It\u2019s where we catch up because we all have busy lives, and we hear about each other\u2019s days.\u2019<\/p>\n

During An Evening With Elton John & Brandi Carlile, the singing duo said they frequently holiday together and love spending time with each other\u2019s kids.<\/p>\n

The Right On Time singer has two daughters of a similar age \u2014 Evangeline Ruth, 10, and Elijah, 7 \u2014 whom she shares with her wife, Catherine Shepherd.<\/p>\n

Throughout the evening\u2019s Q&A, the pair dropped snippets of information about their time together, even having daily breakfast catchups before heading to the studio.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the album before his birthday, Sir Elton shared on Instagram: \u2018This record was one of the toughest i\u2019ve ever made, but it was also one of the greatest musical experiences of my life.<\/p>\n

\u2018It has given me a place where I know I can move forward. \u2018Who Believes In Angels?\u2019 feels like going into another era and I\u2019m pushing the door open to come into the future.<\/p>\n
