At the Senegalese Consulate in Milan (Italy), a driver reportedly attacked the Vice-Consul, Sophie Diatta Ndiaye, according to Lib\u00e9ration in its Tuesday, October 7 edition.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred last Thursday when, disturbed by noise in the hallway, Mrs. Diatta Ndiaye asked the staff to be more discreet, reminding them that \u201cthe Consulate receives Senegalese citizens and must set an example.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, her request reportedly angered several staff members, some of whom accused her of lacking humility because of her alleged affiliation with the Pastef party.<\/p>\n
According to the same source, one of the drivers then violently twisted her arm, allegedly encouraged by colleagues who urged him to \u201cteach her a lesson.\u201d<\/p>\n
A medical examination revealed that Sophie Diatta Ndiaye sustained a temporary work incapacity of seven days.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that she has filed an official complaint.<\/p>\n
